A Sudden Blessing

A Sudden Blessing
1 Kgs.18: 41-45

Something good is about to happen to you shortly. God by the power of His Word will cause that needed change in your situation. It will be so sudden that you will not be able to comprehend it.

Paraphrase the story:
It has been a long period of famine and there were no respite in sight. Your life had experienced moments of lack and you have suffered. People think that no help is forthcoming. David said in Psalms 3: 2, “Many are they who say of me there is no help for him in god.” But I have come to declare to you today that help is coming on the way.

You may have been
* trying it all alone
* bearing it all alone
* battered and almost scattered
By life, but a sudden help
Is coming

Hear the scripture

Hos.13: 9. O Israel you are destroyed, but your help is from Me.

Others may trust in their wealth or their connection but our help is in the name of the Lord (Ps.124: 8).

The draught (famine) is caused by a lack of rain. Without rain/water nothing survives no matter the quantity of manure that is applied. You have tried all you can on your own but this is not by power or might, but by my, Spirit says the Lord. Zech.4: 6.

Your effort is nothing if god’s hand is not upon your life, business, family, etc.

Your self-righteousness will not fetch you that blessing except God is in it.

Your Paul may plant, your Apollo may water, but it is God that brings the increase. 1 Cor.3: 6.

Life is empty where there is no rain. I declare to you today that here comes your season of fain. I can hear the sound of abundance of rain. They have done all they could but all they could do was not enough to bring down the blessing.

Nothing happens until God is sought for. They were busy looking for Elijah, God’s representative all over the place until they found him. You need to seek God.

1 Chro.28: 9 As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.

Prov.8: 17 I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.

Jer.29: 13 And you will seek me out and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

God is the answer to your problem and He uses His servants.

All you need to hear is a word from the Lord today

Suddenly heaven opened up. After that time, the story changed for the better.

I command every dryness in your life to receive refreshing from the Lord.
